Homeowner wishing to sell

Site survey being performed at residential property with Japanese knotweed

Has your mortgage been refused?

TCM helped a homeowner who was wishing to sell his property but had Japanese knotweed in his garden.

His prospective buyers had had their mortgage refused because of the Japanese knotweed.

Total Conservation Management (TCM) completed a Site Survey and issued a Knotweed Management Plan detailing herbicidal treatment for this infestations.

Because of restricted access to the back of the property, and the adjacent buildings, a Dig & Dump strategy was not possible.

TCM carried out the work, which will continue over a second growing season, and we were able to issue our Lloyds underwritten A+ Insurance Backed Guarantee immediately.

This then satisfied the purchaser’s mortgage company and allowed the sale to proceed.
