Japanese knotweed management plan

Knotweed Management Plan & Site Survey

The size, scale and location of every Japanese Knotweed infestation will be different, so the TCM team will visit your land or development to produce a Site Survey, which will document the details of:

The extent of the infestation
This will be confirmed by both photographic evidence and, if necessary, by flying a drone over the area to obtain aerial images.

The location of the infestation
We examine how close the Japanese knotweed is growing to your, and any other, property, land or development.

The maturity of the Knotweed
It is important to understand the maturity of the infestation, at what point in the growing cycle it is at as this will affect our recommendation as to which types of eradication will best suit your situation.

The access requirements for treatment
We will need to determine if the infestation is easily accessible and if there is any other vegetation growing nearby.

Next Steps

The Management Plan supplied will be informed by the site survey. This plan will detail how TCM will eradicate the Japanese knotweed infestation.

Once instructed to proceed TCM will take care of the whole operation keeping you informed at every stage. All our work is guaranteed for 10 years (a time scale that can be extended) and once works are complete we also issue our Lloyd’s backed A+ rated Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG).

TCM will be your expert guide throughout this process. We have over 20 years’ experience of Japanese knotweed removal, control and, most importantly, eradication. We will give you advice in plain English along with the security of our A+ Lloyd’s backed IBG.
