Himalayan Balsam is an annual plant that begins to appear in March, and flowers between June and October.

Appearance

Adult plants can grow up to 3 metres in height, have pinkish hollow stems with shiny green leaves.  Flowers range in colour from whitish pale pink to purplish-pink.
