The owner of a residential estate in Kent contacted TCM wishing to remove a large Japanese knotweed infestation on his land.
The knotweed was growing close to two barns that he wished to develop. On completion of a Site Survey, TCM recommended a Dig & Dump strategy which took place over 5 consecutive days with three team members.
The knotweed had been growing on this site for a number of years, thus excavation produced some exceptionally large Japanese knotweed rhizome (root system), as shown here.
TCM provided their 10 year Lloyd’s backed Insurance Backed Guarantee. Therefore, should the homeowner ever wish to sell, this IBG – alongside the Knotweed Management Plan, would satisfy UK Mortgage Lenders
